By downloading or using Gus GLP-1 ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The information, content, recipes, food suggestions, and insights provided by the App are for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult your physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, or have been advised to follow a specific diet by a healthcare professional.
Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read or tracked in the App. Reliance on any information provided by the App is solely at your own risk.
You are solely responsible for your own dietary choices and health decisions. The App provides tools to help you track and understand your food intake relative to GLP-1 food categories. It does not recommend specific caloric targets, diagnose conditions, or prescribe treatments.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not:
The App, including its design, code, recipe content, text, icons, and mascot, is owned by or licensed to the developer and is protected by intellectual property law. The GLP-1 food science information presented in the App is based on publicly available research; see the Research section of the App for linked sources.
The core App is provided free of charge. If optional in-app purchases ("IAP") are offered in the future, they will be governed by Apple's App Store terms and conditions in addition to these Terms. All IAP sales are final except as required by applicable law or Apple's policies. We do not handle payment information directly; all transactions are processed by Apple.
The App integrates with Apple HealthKit and optionally with Apple iCloud. Your use of those services is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policies. The App also links to third-party research papers for informational purposes; we are not responsible for the content of external websites.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any recipe, nutritional information, or food category data in the App. Nutritional science evolves and individual responses to foods vary.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of health, personal injury, or any damages arising from your reliance on the App's content or your dietary choices made in connection with the App.
In no event shall the developer's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (which may be zero, as the App is free).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in [Your State].
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and post the revised Terms at getgusapp.com/terms. Your continued use of the App after the update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
